Travel & Stay 🏨
The Altar Electric is about 20 minutes from Melbourne's CBD. If you are travelling we recommend booking accomodation in Collingwood, Abbotsford or the CBD.
Quest Collingwood, Veriu Collingwood, lyf Collingwood and the MainStay Suites Abbotsford are all located nearby or any of the avaliable options in the city.
Parking is available nearby at Victoria Park on the day if required.
Public transport from the CBD is accessible or a short walk or Uber from the local stays.
Food and Drink 🥂
Food is fully catered. Canapes and mains. Please provide dietary requirements with your RSVP.
The bar will be serving beer, wine, prosecco, StrangeLove sodas and other non-alcoholic options.
And obviously wedding cake!
Dress Code 🤵🏻
We welcome bright colours, comfortable shoes, anything that sparkles and most of all what makes you feel special. The venue is a neon-lit vegas inspired wedding chapel that invites disco vibes, dancing and bold decisions.

As per your invitations - we kindly appreciate your RSVP as soon as possible to assist with our planning for the day.
Kids 👶🏻
Are invited and welcomed, for those who may need a break from the party there is a quiet space at the back or outside in the laneway behind the venue. Please stay for as long or as little as you are comfortable.
Photo Policy 📸
No phones during the ceremony please. We have a professional photographer to capture this moment and many hours immediately following to take all the snaps with our guests.
Gifts 🎁
Gifts of any kind are absolutely optional, your presence, especially if you're travelling to be with us on our wedding day is what we value most. If you choose to give something, it is warmly appreciated.

If you're travelling to be with us and need some other plans while you're in Melbourne. We reccomend checking out:
The National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne Botanical Gardens, Brunetti Oro, A show at the Theatre, shopping at Melbourne Central and many of the fantastic cafes, restaurants and bars within the CBD, Fitzroy, Collingwood and Abbotsford.

If family and guests would like to spend more time with us before departing we will be planning an informal picnic on Sunday day at the Fitzroy Gardens.
